/photo.cms?msid=2478353 The conflict between two brothers - Aamir and Faisal Khan continues. Faisal’s case has taken a twist. Tahir Hussain, father of Faisal and Aamir Khan has made an application to the magistrate court for his son Faisal’s custody. Tahir Hussain, who couldn’t attend the first hearing of the case because of his poor health, was present with his second wife Shehnaz Tahir Hussain for the second hearing.   

After the first hearing Faisal Khan was sent to the JJ Hospital for five days where he was under doctors’ observation. On October 20, at the second hearing, Doctors of JJ Hospital failed to present a medical report to the court and instead asked for ten more days for medical investigation, as they want to conduct psychological tests, and have also demanded for Faisal’s previous medical reports.

Faisal Khan this time was not present in the court. Speaking to the magistrate court in Bandra. Tahir Hussain said, “Faisal is absolutely fine and is not suffering from any mental illness. As a father I am ready to take his responsibility.” His second wife Shehnaz Tahir Hussain corroborates his husband’s statement saying, “Faisal is fine. He is a nice human being and shares a cordial relationship with my children as well. We will take care of him.”   

Speaking to Indiatimes Movies Faisal’s lawyer S A Vasid said, “After the first hearing on 17th October I met Faisal at JJ Hospital. Yesterday I got an sms from him saying, doctors are planning to keep him for more ten days, which is not required.” He further continues, “Faisal is allowed to meet his family. Apart from psychological test doctors will speak to every family member including his parents Tahir and Zeenat, his sister Nikhat and brother Aamir.”  

If sources are to be believed, Faisal’s mother Zeenat was against Tahir’s second marriage, and later wanted his flat at Marina Apartments at Pali Hill on her name. For this his first wife Zeenat and her daughter Nikhat who stay in Pune want to declare Faisal insane.  

It can be recalled that Faisal’s mother Zeenat, elder sister Nikhat and brother Aamir had alleged that Faisal was mentally imbalanced and should be sent to a mental Asylum. On the contrary, Faisal had informed the commissioner of Police, in writing, that he had been mistreated by his family members, including his elder brother actor Aamir Khan, who had also kept him captive in Cozy Clinic and Nursing home, at Seven Bungalows in Versova where he was medicated upon on the pretext of being mentally imbalanced.  

Needless to say that Tahir Hussain, who loves Faisal, wants to be at his son side, and claims to be hurt by this ‘case’. However, his mother Zeenat has also filed an application for Faisal’s custody. The court has accepted both applications and is adjourned till October 30.
