Chandigarh, July 03 Chandigarh is all set to have its third multiplex, this time by India’s leading and premium multiplex cinema exhibition company — PVR Cinemas. The multiplex will be launched on Friday with the movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.  A PVR Cinemas official said: “The four screens, with a seating capacity of 1,140, will be thrown open to the public on Friday. We will show movies like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic, Love Story 2050 and may beone English movie.”

The launch had been delayed as the process of obtaining the licence took a lot of time.

The ticket prices will vary between Rs 70, Rs 90, Rs 125, Rs 150 and Rs 170 depending on the days and show timings.

Till now the tricity had two multiplexes — The Fun Republic and the recently opened DT cinemas. The Centra Mall, which houses the PVR Cinemas, is located in the industrial area on the site of the well-known Posco Motors.
