If our sources are to be believed, Bollywood’s reclusive superstar Aamir Khan refused to sign a 60 crore deal with Adlabs, just because their scripts for the respective films weren’t ready! Khan, who has been involved in loads of controversies lately, often makes it clear that it is extremely important for him to go through the script before he signs any film! He even stresses the director to narrate the script to him as it shows how passionate the maker is towards his cinema!
However, on the other hand, Hrithik Roshan just did the opposite recently. The Roshan junior has signed a film which is a joint collaboration of Carving Dreams Motion Pictures, a division of Carving Dreams Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., India’s leading talent agency and Eros International, the London listed leading player in the Indian film and entertainment sector.
What surprised us was the fact that Hrithik didn’t even ask for a script when he signed the film as he just obliged Carving, who has been managing his business deals and endorsements for over two years now by accepting the offer!
Mr. Bunty Bahl, Director, Carving Dreams Motion Pictures addressed the press and said, “Having worked closely with Hrithik Roshan as his business mangers for over two years now, we hope to be sensitive to his creative needs and expect him to be involved in our film beyond the boundaries of an actor. As we foray into film production, Hrithik was the most natural choice for us to fortify our relationship further.”
Further probing on the issue Bahl said, “Yes, Hrithik will play the main lead in our debut co-production venture. He signed the film without even waiting for the script or other details, all because of his close proximity with Carving! The deal is just a gesture on his behalf of expressing his attachment for us! He is extremely understanding and flexible”.
So will this film be on an international scale with international stars put in? “The film is not an international venture but is going to be an Indian film and will go on floors in April next year. Other star cast is yet to be finalised”, concluded Bunty.
Hrithik Roshan confirmed the news too and said, “Yes! Carving Dreams has been managing my business profile in terms of endorsements, appearances etc… this is definitely a step towards strengthening our existing relationship.”
Is Aamir Khan listening?
